What is Dark Alliance About?

Dark Alliance is an upcoming Co-op Action RPG developed by Tuque Games and published by Wizards of the Coast. Dark Alliance is set in the world and fiction of Dungeons & Dragons where players will have to explore the harsh and violent Icewind Dale.

 

When is Dark Alliance going to be released? 

Currently, Dark Alliance is scheduled to be released on June 22nd, 2021.

 

On what platforms will Dark Alliance be available on?

Dark Alliance will be released on Xbox series X, Xbox One, Play Station 4, Play Station 5, and on PC.

Do I need to know how to play D&D to play Dark Alliance?

Although rooted on D&D, there is no need to know how to play D&D to be able to enjoy Dark Alliance. 

Are there any DLCs for Dark Alliance?

As of now, all the known DLCs in Dark Alliance are various types of bonus contents rewarded from pre-orders, which vary depending on different editions. While the pre-ordering of the Standard Edition will reward players with the Beholder weapon set, the Digital Deluxe Edition will grant a Lich Weapon Set, and the Echoes of the Blood War expansion content. A Steelbook Edition is also available, which, on top of both of the aforementioned extra weapon sets, come with a Dark Alliance Steelbook, Mini artbook, and access to the game's Digital Soundtracks. Are there any PVP aspects to the gameplay in Dark Alliance?

So far, that has been no news regarding a PVP-related mode in Dark Alliance. 

 

Can I create my own character in Dark Alliance?

You can't create your own character in Dark Alliance. The four playable characters - Bruenor Battlehammer, Drizzt Do'Urden, Catti-Brie and Wulfgar, are fixed characters.

 

Can I select or change Classes in Dark Alliance?

As previously stated, the four playable characters are fixed, so you can't change Classes. Each one of the available characters, fulfills a specific archetype in the team composition.

 

Can I have multiple characters in the same account?

Yes, you can have more than one created character in your account.

 

How can I save the game in Dark Alliance?

There is no manual way of saving the game in Dark Alliance. The game autosaves when you take a short rest during Missions or when you return to Kelvin's Cairn, the game's base camp.

Note that taking a short rest ONLY SAVES the progress made in your current game session.
