Mission Bangor's Span

Garnn & Murdunn is one of the Bosses in Dark Alliance. Bosses are powerful Enemies, that deal massive damage and can have various immunities or resistances to certain attacks. They are usually found at the end of each act.

Garnn & Murdunn are a pair of Duergar that can be found at the end of the Companions of Icewind Dale's third act, called Bangor's Span.

How to Beat Garnn & Murdunn

Garnn & Murdunn Boss Guide:

 

Garnn & Murdunn are a pair of Duergar. Garnn is a warrior-like enemy, wielding sword and shield. He prefers to get up close and personal, while Murdunn is the caster of the pair, less armored but can deal massive damage from a distance. They are accompanied by a group of Duergar archers.

Garnn can gain the Invulnerable Status Effect and invoke shadows that need to be dealt in order to inflict damage to the real Garnn.

Garnn
Shield Bash: Garnn performs an attack with a shield.  Dodge backwards or to either side.
Horizontal Sword attack: Garnn performs a forward thrust.  Dodge to either side. 
Lunging Sword Attack: Garnn leans back and jumps forward with a sword attack Dodge to either side.
  Murdunn
Shadow Ball: Murdunn charges a small energy ball in each hand, merges them and shoots it at the player in front line. Dodge to either side.
Shadow Strike: Murdunn leans back and performs a small body slam in front of him.  Dodge to either side.
