The Chef is one of the Bosses in Dark Alliance. Bosses are powerful Enemies, that deal massive damage and can have various immunities or resistances to certain attacks. They are usually found at the end of each act.

The Chef is a burnt Verbeeg that can be fought at the end of A Feast for all Cretins. He is fought it a forge, so you have to be mindful to not be burned by the flames emerging from the ground.

How to Beat The Chef
The Chef Boss Guide:
The Chef is a verbeeg, he employs their most common tactics during the fight. He uses the furnace's fire to his advantage and can burn you for massive damage if you are not paying attention.
Attacks & Counters
| Attack | Counter |
| Jump: The Chef turns red and leans back to jump and fall in his place, attempting to crush you with his body | Fall back. |
| Spear Thrust: The Chef thrusts forward using the spear on his right hand. | Dodge to either side. |
| Spear Spin: The Chef grabs the spear with both hands and starts spinning wildly. Once it finishes spinning, he slams the spear in front of him | Move back as fast as possible, dodge to either side the final slam. |
| Spear throw: The Chef throws his chained spear towards the player, if it lands, it will use it to grab you in front of him. | Dodge to either side. |
| Fist stomp: The Chef his the ground with his fist, causing AoE damage in a small radius. | Dodge backwards. |
